Accessibility Abroad offers consultation, training, and networking opportunities for professionals in non-profit and higher education who are eager to expand access for students and individuals with disabilities to the transformative experience of education abroad.
Accessibility Abroad was founded by Justin Harford, who spent nearly ten years with the National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange. In that role, he responded to hundreds of inquiries about supporting participants with disabilities in education abroad programs, contributed three book chapters, and presented at numerous conferences both in person and virtually. As a blind person who studied abroad twice, Justin brings both professional expertise and lived experience to this work. He is passionate about its importance and committed to ensuring that these vital services continue to support the field.
